Hi & Welcome to aimPRO...

...the new online community of English-speaking marketing and communications people living and/or working in Israel.

The simple goal of aimPRO is to build a community of people interested in getting to know each other; a place where we can share experiences & challenges and learn from each other's best practice and worst nightmares, and a chance to benefit from being better connected with people in our industry who speak the same language!

Having just launched, the objective is to grow the aimPRO community as quickly as possible, so we can all benefit from forums in which to swap ideas, locate resources, collaborate on work and facilitate joint opportunities.

As aimPRO grows, we plan to hold regular offline networking and social events in the real world (yeah you remember...the one with the real bars, real drinks, real pretzels, where people used to poke each other in person!) We're also lining up a schedule of guest speakers with a track record of delivering excellent professional results and developing successful careers within the Israeli marketing scene.

Other benefits include special subscription rates with overseas trade publications and industry bodies & which we're currently negotiating, and access to resources of interest to the Anglo-Israeli marketing pro.

We will also try to provide advice and guidance to potential Aliyah candidates and others hoping to work with or in the Israeli marketing sector for the first time.

The faster the community grows, the quicker aimPRO's program of events and benefits will become available.

Finally, if nothing else, aimPRO will provide a regular opportunity for you to vent frustrations and bitch about the boss with others who understand and have probably been there themselves! :-)

Other than that there are no other preconceived expectations for aimPRO - in true web2.0 style, the community will decide for itself and evolve as it sees fit.
